Tour Summary
This tour package takes you to some of the most popular and iconic destinations in Sri Lanka, including Anuradhapura, Habarana, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Pinnawala, Peradeniya, Nuwara Eliya, Hikkaduwa, and Bentota.
You will start your tour in Anuradhapura, one of the oldest and most important cities in Sri Lanka. Here, you will visit the ruins of the ancient city, including the Mahabodhi Temple, the Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba, and the Jetavana Monastery.
Next, you will travel to Habarana, where you will visit the Minneriya National Park and see the famous wild elephants. Then, you will continue to Sigiriya, where you will climb the Lion Rock and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
From Sigiriya, you will go to Polonnaruwa, another ancient city that is home to many ruins, including the Royal Palace and the Vatadage. Then, you will travel to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Here, you will visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world.
After Kandy, you will go to Pinnawala, where you can see the Elephant Orphanage. Then, you will continue to Peradeniya, where you will visit the Royal Botanical Gardens. From Peradeniya, you will travel to Nuwara Eliya, a hill station that is known for its tea plantations and cool climate.
Finally, you will end your tour in Hikkaduwa and Bentota, two popular beach destinations. Here, you can relax on the beach, go surfing, or visit the Turtle Hatchery.
